This day is celebrated to recognize girls’ rights and the unique challenges they face all over the world. Globally, organizations would engage in various advocacy activities and programs towards girls’ empowerment, promotion and attainment of basic human rights such as education and physical autonomy regardless of their geographical location. SHE RISES INT’L, INC., in collaborations with similar missioned local area educational institution and organization will engage in distribution of backpacks filled with school supplies (including feminine products) for some students to encourage them.
